Dear Friends,

Summer is upon us, but there are still needs in the community.

We continue to collect donations for the Dartmouth Council on Aging Food Pantry.
July is Cereal Month
August is Juice Month
September is Peanut Butter and Jelly Month

There is an opportunity to provide food assistance in another way, while enjoying our beautiful south coast summer.  The South Dartmouth YMCA's Sharing the Harvest Program needs volunteers to help in the harvesting of produce grown in their community farm.  The food is picked and packed for the Hunger Commission.

Regular harvesting hours are Wednesdays and Saturdays 9:00-12:00, and Thursdays 2:30-5:00.  If these hours do not fit your schedule, they can arrange a time that works for you.  Why not get together with friends and neighbors and make a party of it?
