Rev. Will Sencabaugh

Rev. Sencabaugh (sen-sa-bah) was born and raised in Attleboro, Massachusetts. He earned a Bachelor of University Studies degree at the University of Maine.  While in Maine he attended the Bangor Theological Seminary, graduating with a Master’s of Divinity degree in 1997.  For two years he served as pastor of the Carmel Union Congregational Church in Carmel, Maine.
In 1997, he was called to the Halifax (Massachusetts) Congregational Church where he served as pastor for five years. During that time he attended and graduated from Andover Newton Theology School with a Doctor of Ministry degree.
His career has spanned 3 churches, and he comes to us from the South Deerfield Congregational Church. In over 13 years of parish ministry Will has worked hard to develop ecumenical relationships in the communities he has served while strengthening the mission work of his churches.  He has worked hard for the Massachusetts Conference of the U.C.C. serving on the Board of Directors for four years, serving as Chair in 2007.  Currently he serves the Conference as a facilitator for Boundary Awareness Training for clergy, and serves the Franklin Association on the Church and Ministry Committee.
Rev. Will Sencabaugh lives with his wife Julie, and two children, Drew and Jenna.  Will and Julie enjoy taking very long walks, road trips, and working around the yard.   Drew is a 13-year-old drummer in a “rock” band (Sticks and Stones).  When not tapping, he’s strumming a guitar or doing his homework.   Outside of music, his most passionate activity is golf.   Jenna is 11 and enjoys playing soccer and softball.   She plays the flute and loves to read and go on bike rides, play games and do crafts.
