Linda Keith brings both energy and experience to the church office. She joined the staff in December 2003 and believes that it is a privilege to contribute to the growth and development of such a wonderful community of faith.
Linda has worked for 18 years in Student Affairs at three universities, most recently 13 years as the Assistant Director of Residence Life at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. At UMass Amherst, she was responsible for professional and graduate staff recruitment, selection, training, and development. Linda continues to consult with various colleges and universities on team development, learning communities, and student life issues. She is certified to administer the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. The leadership and direction that Linda brings to her work models responsibility and care, rooted in hope and connection.
Linda was born in Monroe, Wisconsin and was baptized and confirmed in the Methodist Church; she has been a member of the United Church of Christ since 1991. She received both her undergraduate (Recreation Administration) and graduate degrees (Education) from the University of Wisconsin– LaCrosse.
She and her partner Karen McArthur moved to South Dartmouth in June 2003 with their two children, Drew and Abby. Linda enjoys family activities, music, sailing, kayaking, Scrabble, and golf.
